Voice Therapy for Children with Vocal Nodules
Created by speech-language pathologist and voice therapist Andrea Pizza, Captain June & Larry the Larynx is a children’s book and voice‐therapy tool designed to support kids with vocal nodules and other voice disorders.
The design work included illustrations of Larry the Larynx — a friendly anatomical character — paired with engaging layouts that blend storytelling and educational tone. The book design brings together playful art, clear typography and thoughtful page structure, making complex voice mechanisms accessible for children, parents and therapists alike.
